The Beginning of World War 3

After the death of Alexander the Great, his empire was divided into 4 kingdoms:-
1. Seleucid Empire or Northern kingdom,
2. Ptolemaic Empire or Southern Kingdom
3. Kingdom of Pergamon in Asia Minor,
4. and Macedonia.

Daniel was a prophet of God and He was even able to tell the dream that King Nebuchenezzar had the night before. God showed him many future events that were fulfilled. After the death of Alexander the Great (since he had no successor), his seven generals fought for the control of the Empire and it was only after 40 years of struggle that the Grecian Empire was divided into 4 kingdoms as mentioned above. The Northern kingdom (Seleucid Empire) comprised of the present-day Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan (the land of the former Persian Empire) and Pakistan. Iran was formally known as Persia. All the nations of the Northern kingdom are in Asia and at this moment are all Muslim countries.The Southern kingdom (Ptolemaic Empire) comprised of Israel and Egypt. The kingdom of Pergamon (Greece) and the kingdom of Macedonia (Macedonia) are in Europe and are Christian nations.
The prophecies concerning the wars and events between the Northern and Southern kingdoms recorded in Daniel Chapter 11:1-39 were fulfilled so accurately that the Agnostic Historians suggested that the book of Daniel was written only during the Roman Empire. Please note this prophecy of Daniel below (Dan11:40-Dan12), which will only be fulfilled in the end time.

"At the time of the end the king of the South (Israel and/or Egypt) shall attack him (king of the North); and the king of the North (Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and/or Pakistan) shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through." In the end time, Israel with the help of Egypt (king of the South) will attack Iran (Persia - head of the former Persian Empire - king of the North). To the surprise of every nation, Iran will fight back. Neighbouring Arab nations such as Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon. Saudi Arabia, etc. (some will rebel against their governments) will join Iran/Iraq to conquer Israel and Egypt. Read also the Antichrist

Immediately after Israel attacked Iran, Muslim worldwide will rise up and caused untold damages in the countries they dwelled in. Nations, like China, Russia and many Muslim nations which are friends of Iran may join in the fight. This will be the beginning of World War 3. ....Read also `The Antichrist'

"He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon." Dan 11:41 (NKJ)

The Antichrist (a Shia Muslim) will conquer many neighbouring countries including Israel (Glorious Land). However, Jordan (the land of Edom, Moab and part of Ammon) will be spared by Iran for he will consider Jordan as a friend.

"He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels." Dan 11:42-43 (NKJ)

The Antichrist will conquer and ransack Egypt (Egypt obviously will be an accomplice of Israel during the attack of Iran). Egypt's destruction will be an example of the vengeance of Iran. Libya and Ethiopia will align themselves with Iran

"But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many." Dan 11:44 (NKJ)

India and other nations (from the East) and Georgia and European nations (from the North) will attack Iran but Iran will conquer and destroy all these attackers.

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Dan 11:45 (KJV)

After conquering Jerusalem (which is between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea), the Antichrist will then build the temple of God (the tabernacles of his palace) on the holy mountain.

God will allow Jerusalem to be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles as a vengeance for their Unbelief in signing the Israel-PLO Peace Accord. Please read Luke 21:20-24.
Nevertheless the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His anger was aroused against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the LORD said, "I will also remove Judah from My sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, 'My name shall be there.'" The Antichrist having conquered Jerusalem will be honoured by the Muslims as a prophet of Allah. He will then order the removal of the `Rock on the Mount' and the Al Qusa mosque in order that the temple of God (tabernacle) can be built. At dedication, he will show himself as god and thus dwell in there making it his palace.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
