Heresies and Destructive Doctrines
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 2 Pet 2:1-2 (NKJ)

The following heretic teachings are destructive and are found to be rampant in churches nowadays. All watchmen of God must ensure that these destructive heresies are removed from the church congregations and all those who practice and teach such heresies must be admonished by the pastors and church leaders.

Celebrating the Israel – PLO Peace Accord
The signing of the Israel – PLO Peace Accord is an abomination to the Lord. Christians who celebrated this Peace Accord denied that the Conquest of the Promised Land was miraculously assisted by God, and that God has given that Land to the Israelite as their eternal inheritance.

The Day of the Lord comes as a Thief in the night
The Lord warned us that in the last days Christians will take the Day of the Lord as a thief in the night for they are too busy to understand the Holy Bible and God. Only a few will not allow that to overtake them.

Christians being Demonized or Demon Possessed
The temple of God is holy. Every physical body of a Christian is the temple of God where the Spirit of God indwells. Who destroy His temple, God will destroy him.

Confessing Sins of Old
The work of our Lord on the cross was completed 2000 years ago. Every born again Christian's sins of old (including curses) were forgiven and forgotten on the day of his salvation. We only need to confess the new sins committed after salvation.

History supersedes the Holy Scriptures
Historians have tried to discredit some of the records in the Holy Bible as fairy tales for these records were not found in the history of those countries.

Evolution replacing God
Evolution is not Science, which is the discovery of God's wisdom. Today Christians are in a dilemma because of the theory of evolution and also the finding of remains of animals, which died millions of years ago.

Prosperity teaching
This type of teaching has destroyed the faith of Christians, especially Church leaders and pastors. It makes them covetous and again love the world, from which they had earlier separated themselves for the sake of the Kingdom of heaven. They justify their greed that all pastors must be wealthy as a testimony of God's blessings to unbelievers .
Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." Luke 16:14-15 (NKJ)

False Prophecies and Visions
Many Christians because they want recognition (especially visiting pastors) often prophesy when God has not spoken nor shown them visions. These are the ones using the Lord Name in vain or for their own personal gain. This is outright defying the Commandment of God.
"You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain." Exod 20:7 (NKJ)

Positive confession
An influence by positive thinkers who claim that whatever they confess with their mouth will be achieved even though it is not of God. Such psychological thinking is derived from the wisdom of this world. which has discreetly crept into the church. This type of confession is not the expression of faith in God but blatant lies, e.g. For positive confessors, a church with only 300 members will tell people that they have 1000-member congregation. They should tell the truth that they have 300 members. However, if they are convinced that they will be 1000 in 3 years' time, then they can say that they believe they will be 1000 strong in 3 years' time. Healing is another area where positive confessors have destroyed the faith of immature Christians, who were so confused on hearing the death (or hospitalisation) of the person who confessed that `God has healed him completely'. To them, telling the truth that you are sick is negative confesssion thus suppressing Truth and making these Christians to be liars. Note:- the devil is the father of lies. (John 8:44, 1 John 5:19)

Playing God
Using God's name to influence others to ensure one's desire or pride is satisfied. This is against God's specific commandment that we should not use His name in vain. Thee false christs will command God to do things (serve them) in accordance to their greed for worldly gain. They (especially visiting speakers) even dare to annoint apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers without God's commands or directions. This is commonly found in churches today for those, who were supposed to be the `annointed evangelists' by these false christs, are still warming the pews or gone back to the world or to the Father in heaven. From Scriptures all those annointed performed according to their annointing which includes the reluctant prophet Jonah. `God's annointing is God's enabling '. Remember that when Lucifer wanted to be God, he was cast to the pits to be condemned forever. Repent of this blasphemy or face the wrath of God.

Churches in business
The church is supposed to be holy unto the Lord in that she should not defile herself with the world. Even in the days of Jesus when those selling doves for temple sacrifices were thrown out. What more businesses involving pastors who are supposed to take care of God's business. Pastors are to spend time with God, to hear from Him so that they can minister the Word of God (Acts 6:1-4). God's plan of blessing His people is in their faith in tithing or offerings. Whenever they give to God, God will bless them. When churches are in business making money then they do not depend on the offerings for their expenses thus disallowing God to bless the congregation. Shame on you for not allowing God's blessings to be upon your congregation!

Possessing the land
This means that we are to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven i.e. the human bodies becoming the temples of God. Just as the Canaan land was conquered so that all abominations were destroyed and the temple of God could be built. Nowadays, covetous Christians have deceitfully misinterpreted Scriptures to mean that the heathens' properties and wealth be theirs (they are praying and confessing daily for the possession of these material things).
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's." Exod 20:17 (NKJ)
