The Sixth Seal
|

Immediately after the Great Tribulation, the whole heaven experiences a total blackout. The whole universal seems to be falling apart and twisted. Earthquakes and tsunamis are abound. At that moment and in total darkness faint lights like little stars will appear in the sky. Miraculously the whole world will see them. They seem to fall down to earth and will become bigger and bigger. Finally, all mankind will see the Lord Jesus Christ coming in glory with His angels to collect His elects or saints.

The Great Heavenly Blackout

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" Rev 6:12-17 (NKJ)

"But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Mark 13:24-26 (NKJ)

All these scripture verses compliment one another. A better understanding is obtained when we take into accounts all these verses plus many other verses concerning `His appearing or Coming for His elects' in the Holy Bible.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matt 24:29-30 (NKJ)

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory" Luke 21:25-27 (NKJ)

The great and deadly earthquake will cause extremely great tsunamis and landslips. Great damages to buildings killing many with total power blackout. Everyone will run out of their houses to the open space.

and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Being in the open space, everyone will witness the sun blacken and the moon becoming red and then black for it reflects the light from the sun.

And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

The moment the whole heaven is pitch black, they will see numerous stars falling down. As the stars draw closer to the earth, everyone will see the Lord Jesus Christ coming in His glory with His angels.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1Thes 4:16-17 (NKJ)

Then, the archangel will sound his trumpet and at the last call, the dead in Christ will rise first to meet the Lord in the air, and the elects (represented by the male child in Rev 12:1-5) will change to the new glorious body and also rise up to meet the Lord. This is commonly referred to as `Rapture'
[ Note: The elects are Jesus' disciples who have trusted His promises and obeyed His Word and Commandments till death ]

"And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." Zech 12:10 (NKJ)
`Rapture' is the end of the period of grace for the Gentiles. At Rapture, all Israel will see Jesus coming with His angel and immediately, they will accept Him as their Messiah.

All Israel will be saved at Rapture.
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins." Rom 11:25-27 (NKJ)

Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." Rev 7:2-3 (NKJ)

At Rapture, which is the end of the period of grace, the Holy Spirit will return back to heaven together with the Lord Jesus Christ and His angels and elects. Thus, all new Christians (Israelites) will be sealed with the seal of God so that the wraths of God and of the Lamb will not hurt them.

Immediately after Rapture, these great earthquakes, tsunamis, will kill half of all mankind left behind (except those sealed).

."I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left." And they answered and said to Him, "Where, Lord?" So He said to them, "Wherever the (dead) body is, there the eagles will be gathered together." Luke 17:34-37 (NKJ)

Brethren, please ensure that you are counted worthy to be taken up with our Lord at Rapture or else face the coming wrath of the Lamb.
"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:36 (NKJ)

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. 2 Pet 2:1-3
