Mystery of the 7 Seals
|
|
The Seventh Seal
|
|
After the Rapture, all the elects will be taken back to heaven. This will then be the beginning of the Period of the Last Seven Years of the Israelites. Those left behind will be the misled Christians, the new Israelite Christians (sealed by God) and the non believers. Half of all mankind will be killed. As soon as the Holy Spirit is taken up to heaven, Satan, the Devil and his cohorts (demons - falling angels) will be cast down to earth. They will no longer be allowed to enter heaven again. God will allow Satan to punish mankind for three and a half years and this is the period called the Wrath of Satan. See End-time chart below.
|
|
However, God protects the new believers (The church represented by the glorious woman in Rev 12:6-17) during this period. Immediately after the period of the wrath of Satan, will be the period of the wrath of God and that of the Lamb. This is the punishment of all those who had worship the beast or had taken the mark of the beast or `666'.

The Wrath of God and of the Lamb

When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And he was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. Rev 8:1-6 (NKJ)

Scene on earth after Rapture
After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,..... Rev 7:1-7(NKJ)

Scene in heaven after Rapture
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,.... Rev 7:9-17 (NKJ)

When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
Immediately after Rapture, the seventh Seal was opened, and there will be silence for three and a half years (an hour is the period of the last 7 years for the Israelites). Satan having been cast down to the earth will be allowed to punish mankind as he pleases during this period. This is the period of the wrath of Satan.

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. Rev 13:5-7 (NKJ)

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
After the period of the wrath of Satan, God will pour down His wrath on all mankind who had taken the mark of the beast or `666' for a period of three and a half years also.
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb." Rev 14:9-10 (NKJ)
|
"And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. Rev 11:3-6 (NKJ)
The 7 trumpets (or 7 bowls) are the wrath of God, which will be poured on all those who had worshipped the beast or had taken the mark of the beast on their foreheads or hands.

1st Trumpet
The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Rev 8:7 (NKJ)
2nd Trumpet
Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. Rev 8:8 (NKJ)
3rd Trumpet
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Rev 8:10-11 (NKJ)
4th Trumpet
Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. Rev 8:12 (NKJ)
5th Trumpet
Then the fifth angel sounded: ...And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace....Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth.... And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. And their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. Rev 9:1-6 (NKJ)
6th Trumpet
Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Rev 9:13-15 (NKJ)
7th Trumpet
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" Rev 11:15 (NKJ)
|
1st Bowl
So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Rev 16:2 (NKJ)
2nd Bowl
Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died. Rev 16:3 (NKJ)
3rd Bowl
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood..... O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due." Rev 16:4-6 (NKJ)
4th Bowl
Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. Rev 16:8-9 (NKJ)
5th Bowl
Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. Rev 16:10-11 (NKJ)
6th Bowl
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev 16:12-14 (NKJ)
7th Bowl
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!" . Rev 16:17 (NKJ)

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. 2 Pet 2:1-3
