When is Jesus Coming for His saints?
Mystery of Y2K (Year 2000AD)

As the Year 2000AD approached, the computor programmers were worried that when the date changed from 1999 to 2000, the CPU might change from 1999 to 1900. This problem was coined as `the Y2K bug'. This bug would likely cause the CPU to send out strange signals which might be responsible for the complete blackout by the stopping of electric generation, pumps, and machineries in factories, causing untold damages. At its worse, it might even triggle the setting off of Weapons of Mass Destruction resulting to the Nuclear Third World War. Serious warnings from these authorities and expects were common and though billions of dollars were spent to make all these important and critical computors Y2K compliance, much fear lingered.
Revival in the 70s and 80s
Since the beginning of the revival in the Seventies and Eighties, Godly Christians were fervently preaching the everlasting gospel and also proclaiming that the Day of the Lord (Rapture) was near. The topic of the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord was popular then, and that the Lord would likely come back by the end of the Century.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Tim 4:8 (NKJ)

During that period, Christians, who loved the Lord will always obey His Word and Commandments. They demonstrated their love by fervently proclaimed the Good News and the soon coming of the Saviour.

During this Seventies and Eighties revival, millions and millions came to the Lord. Nominal Christians were revived and the churches were tranformed. Millions upon millions were healed of their sicknesses, diseases and their demon-possessions. The churches were then the beacons for the non-believers.

Heresies and distorted Teachings appeared

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way." Matt 13:24-25 (NKJ)

However, during this period of revival, false teachers secretly brought in heresies and distorted teachings. These wrong teachings destroyed their complete faith in the Lord thus resulting to Christians being toss about by the various winds of doctrine.

These heresies taught Christians to be self-centred, worldly and carnal. The fear of God was disappearing from these decieved Christians for they dared to use the Name of the Lord for their own personal gain. These false teachers were so successful that by the beginning of the Nineties, Christians were lukewarm to Jesus' Coming back. In 1993AD, when the PLO-Israel Peace Accord was signed (...Read more), almost all Christians and Christian leaders, and all Christian nations worldwide displayed their misdeed by rejoicing in this Abomination to the Lord. Immediately, by 1994 more than a million souls were killed by the many civil wars (...Read more) that suddenly sprang-up. During those few years, there were also increase in earthquakes activities and with greater intensity. In 1997AD, the great economic downturn in Asia, Africa and Central and South Americas (where there were great revivals in their churches), brought many Chrisitans to their knees before God for deliverance. God used these events to wake up Christians from their comfort zones and to get them to do the work of God. Christians were once again warm to the topic of the Coming of the Lord.

The coming Y2K bug
Godly Christians on hearing of the dangers of the coming Y2K bug which could wipe out the human race, immediately preached that this was an End-time sign. They spent much time exponding on the End-time events which have the effect of bringing Christians back to trust Him in this time of uncertainty.
This godly Christians believed and preached the Y2K bug as the Endtime sign because:-
1. They loved the Lord and His appearing (2Tim4:8)
2. They loved their fellow brethren.
3. They loved not this world and the things therein (1John2:15-17),
4. They sincerely believed that the Lord would be coming back soon,
5. They wanted to be the watchmen of God (Eze 33:1-7)
However, worldly and carnal Christians (mockers) will discredit such belief for they love this world (but deep within them, they fear the imminent coming of the Lord and the judgment to follow).
Therefore, the majority of Christians expected the Day of
the Lord (Rapture) to be in the Year 2000AD (Y2K)

The Day of the Lord

"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." Matt 24:42-44 (NKJ)

The Day of the Lord (Rapture) when God gathers His elects back to heaven will be a time when things are normal and peaceful. His Coming will also be at a time when Christians will not expected it.
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, ..... And they shall not escape. 1Thes 5:2-3 (NKJ)

Faithful and Wise Servant
|

"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods." Matt 24:45-47 (NKJ)

These are the ones who will feed their sheep with truth until `Rapture'. Teaching them to carry the cross daily, crucify the flesh, denying oneself, be transform to be more like Christ, love not the world and the things therein, love the enemies, bless those who curse you, forgive everyone, be born again by the eternal Word, etc.

The Evil Servant

"But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matt 24:48-51 (NKJ)

These servants, when the Lord did not come in Y2K, lost their faith in God. They then spend all their effort in making money for a better furture for their family. Thus, they begin to slaughter the sheep. Many allow their churches/congregations to be involved in direct selling of health food, and even in the illegal pyramid system of gold coins. These can no longer teach `truth'. The final destination for them will be the lake of fire where the hypocrites will also be thrown.

"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. The Ten Virgins

They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God. Rev 14:3-5 (NKJ)

Mystery of the virgins
The virgins are the true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, for they obey His Word and Commandments to the latest. They have been transformed for they no longer walk in the flesh but in the Spirit of God. Thus, they have prepared themselves to be the bride of the Lamb.
"Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." Rev 19:7 (NKJ)

"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' Godly Christians (virgins), who will only follow the teachings and commandments of the Lord are the true watchmen of God. When they expect the Lord to be coming back soon and knowing that all those living in their sin will be judged, they will proclaim their belief and appeal to their brethren to repent. These watchmen will always be treated as prophets of doom by the worldly and carnal Christians, still they will continue to preach the End-time message. Their love for God and for their brethren's salvation gives them the strength to endure the persecutions, false accusations and condemnations by these mockers (worldly Christians).
Immediately after Y2K, all the virgins (godly Christians) stopped (sleep) warning and preaching the End-time message of His imminent Coming. Yet 50% of these godly Christians were affected by the Delay of His expected `Rapture'. Their faith in God was so badly shaken that they could no longer solely depend on God, thus they plan for their own future.
"But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop,
then the tares also appeared." Matt 13:26 (NKJ)
Suddenly, all these pastors and full time workers began to contribute to EPF and to take up insurance policies for their future. Their children's education and future became their top priority. These pastors and full time workers began to serve only for the highest salaries offered. Many full time workers began to heap upon themselves extra income by their involvement in direct selling especially in health food and insurance.

God used the Y2K (so-called Delay of His Coming)
to reveal the tares from the good seeds.

'Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."'" Matt 13:30 (NKJ)

At Rapture which is coming soon, the tares will be burned (cast into hell and finally the lake of fire) but the wheat will be gather into His barn (kingdom of heaven).

Brethren, both the tares and the wheat has been revealed after the Y2K. The seeds will be riped soon for harvest. Repent and come back to trust God again. Have faith in Him. He is our Salvation, our Father, Provider, Comforter, Healer, Protector, the Almighty God, Teacher, etc. Please do not deny God of these attributes of His.

Is the Coming of Jesus delayed ? No!

"For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry." Heb 10:37 (NKJ)

He will not delay His coming for God is faithful to His Word and Promises, and neither can God lie nor commit sin.

"But of that day (Rapture) and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." Matt 24:36 (NKJ)

Only God knows the time of Rapture and since He has not revealed it to anyone, so how can Jesus be late in coming ?

"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Mark 13:32 (NKJ)

Even Jesus, when He was on earth did not know when the Rapture would be. Since no one knows the day and the hour, how can Jesus be late in Coming ?

Thus, the Y2K was the time whereby all godly Christians expected Jesus to come for His elects at Rapture. However, God had not indicated nor told us that He will be back at Y2K. Thus, when Rapture did not happened, the unlearned's faith was very badly shaken. Many forsake their faith in God and turned to the world for their supplies, securities, comforts and needs. Thus, worldly wisdom is taught as truth in the churches today.

Let God once again truly be your Father, Provider, Healer, etc.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. 2 Pet 2:1-3
